Luigi Crema - Research Scientist

 

Luigi Crema was born in ESTE (Pd) on July 29th 1972. He lives in Levico Terme (Tn) with his wife Stefania and his two children, Geremia and Rachele Maria.

He graduated in Physic Methodologies in Environmental Control and Diagnostic at Ferrara University in 1998 (53/60).

He won a two years national grant from I.N.F.M. (Italian National Institute for Matter Physic) spent in Sensors and Semiconductors Group at Physic Department in Ferrara University, working mainly in electrical characterization on Thick film semiconductor sensors.

After 3 years of experience in Sensors and Semiconductors Group he has been employed in a spin-off company, Unitec s.r.l. . He was director for research and development of technical instrumentation for environmental monitoring based on innovative thick film sensors.

During the work experience he graduated in Innovative Physics Technologies - Sensors and Semiconductors - at Ferrara University in 2003 (102/110).

In 2007 he had  an experience as technical responsible for a Composing Plant in Este (Pd), S.E.S.A. S.p.A. , following both aerobic and anaerobic fermentation processes, together with biogas production and energy cogeneration.

In late 2008 he has become researcher  for  FBK, in Innovation unit REET (Renewable Energies and Environmental Technologies), where he is employed mainly in Solar Thermal Energy and Biofuels research and development, in Computational Physics using FEM (Finite Element Modelling) applied to Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamic approach.
